I have a small heavy metal cart with 2 sets of golf cart batteries in series with an 1600 inverter and a battery charger, mainly for power failure. Because we hardly ever do have a power failure’s I didn’t want a a gasoline powered backup. I just wanted to roll it in and plug it into the room. I really think that golf cart batteries are the best for powering a room. but they don’t last more than a year even when you hardly use them. I tried not having the inverter connected and same results. I think it might be that they are hooked to each other.
