There is a AWP 3.6 installed on a farm I am working on this year (2015). I understand that this turbine has been in operation since about 2000. The turbine has been seriously neglected – even though it only has two grease points, nobody bothered to grease it seemingly ever. Unfortunately I cannot give wind data but this 36V model produces 5 Amps in low wind speeds and nearly 30 Amps before it starts to break (furl) – every day without a hassle. I’d recommend it to anyone who values robust design and maintenance free technology.
