We have lived off the grid for 20+ years. Our experience with golf cart batteries, 12 of them, hooked up for a 24V system has been excellent. They have always lasted at least 5 years and sometimes a little more. We have bought them from Sam’s Club and various other places specializing in batteries. We did try the L16’s and they were not worth the money paid.
